who are you? who is your audience?

In order to make your messages relevant and appropriate, you need to define and know your audience. Your audience may have many stakeholders or stakeholder groups in it – who are they? Decision makers, retailers, students, clients, consumers, children, pensioners, members of the local community? What effect are you likely to have on each of these stakeholders? What are the differences between each stakeholder group’s messages?
